2. Applicable law - Litigation
Any order addressed to Sinologie.com by any means, is based upon the agreement of these present general conditions of sale. It belongs to each customer, professional or private individuals, to read the Terms and Conditions of Sinologie.com before placing an order.
The orders are subjected to the French law. In the event of litigation only the French courts only are qualified.
3. Presentation of the products
The characteristics of the products offered to the sale are described on the Internet website https://www.sinologie.fr and https://www.sinologie.com (called "the website" hereafter).
The pictures do not enter into the contractual field. The responsibility of Sinologie.com cannot be committed if errors were introduced in the website. All the texts and images presented on the website are reserved, for the whole world, by way of the royalties and of intellectual property; their reproduction, even partial, is strictly prohibited without the formal agreement of Sinologie.com.
4. Products prices
The website indicates the prices in euro all inclusive of tax, except the shipping cost at the charge of the customer. The amount of the VAT included and the shipping cost appear on the computer screen during the confirmation order.
The ordered products are billed at the current price during the registering of the order.
5. Order
The customer validates his order when he clicks on the button "VALIDATE" at the bottom of the summary page of the order; he accepts implicitly the process of order and the present general conditions of sale.
In the event of ordering a product become unavailable, the customer will be informed of this unavailability, as soon as possible (generally the very same day or at the latest the day following the order), by e-mail or telephone.
Sinologie.com confirms the order by e-mail; this confirmation reminds all the details of the order.
The data recorded by Sinologie.com constitute the proof of the nature, the contents and the date of the order.
The customer can consult at any time the history of his orders on the site, in the section "My account".
Regarding the orders sent through fax by companies, only pro forma invoices or estimates from Sinologie.com duly signed by a representative of the company will be approved.
6. Payment
The payment can be done by three manners:
- Credit card:
The part dedicated to the payment of the site is secure (SSL encoding ), and provided by our banking partner Banque Populaire Rives de Paris.
In order to limit the risks of credit cards frauds, the Sinologie company reserves the right to refuse a payment by credit card, the customer will be then informed of the reason of the rejection.
In the case of an order involving unavailable items, the amount of the transaction can be revaluated according to the adjustments done on the order.
- Check (for French customers only):
The check should be exclusively made payable to the order of Sinologie, and will have to be attached with the purchase invoice wich appears on the screen of the customer at the end of the ordering process (this purchase invoice can be printed at any time from our Internet site, in the section "My account"). The final validation of the order and the delivery are processed at the reception of a check of an amount corresponding to the total amount in euro of the order, attached together with the printed purchase invoice, at the Head Office of the company Sinologie.
- Bank transfer:
A transfer corresponding to the total amount of the order will have to be wired to the account of the company Sinologie. The banking informations necessary to the transaction is provided with the purchase invoice on the screen of the customer at the end of the ordering process. The final validation of the order and the delivery are processed at the reception of a transfer of an amount corresponding to the total amount in euro of the order.The payer is liable for eventual banking transfer fees.
7. Shipping
The delivery of the products available in our stocks is carried out within the usual time (except imponderable related to shipping):
- usual postal time (that is to say D+2 for the sendings in Colissimo within Metropolitan France, and at least D+2 according to countries, via International Priority Postal parcel) and this from:
- the day following the date of order for a payment by credit card.
- the reception of the payment by Sinologie.com in the event of payment made by cheque or bank transfer.
Any problem regarding the delivery (damaged goods, missing products when checking the delivery order invoice, damaged parcel, broken products) will have to be imperatively indicated on the delivery order, followed by the signature of the customer. Meanwhile, the client will still have to address the problem to the shipping company, by registered mail exposing the aforementioned complaints, within 2 business days according to the delivery date. The customer will also have to forward a copy of this mail the customer service of Sinologie.com by e-mail
8. Shipping delay
Except explicit agreement from the customer, in the absence of delivery within thirty days from the date of the order, the customer will be as soon as possible informed, by e-mail, fax or mail of the impossibility of delivery. The order would be regarded as cancelled and the payments, which would have been carried out, would be refunded within thirty days.
9. Major force
Sinologie.com will not be able, in any case, to acknowledge its responsibility committed for any failure to its contractual obligations in the case of a major force for the following events (their enumeration are not exhaustive): external or internal strikes, disasters, delay in our stocking and generally any event directly preventing the orders from being normally processed.
10. Satisfied or refunded - Return policy
Private customer is allowed to return items, within seven days from the delivery day. The customer is liable for the shipping cost of this return. He can ask for a refund or for an exchange.
- For a refund, the customer must return the items with the original invoice within seven days from the delivery day. The customer is refunded within thirty days, from the date of the return of the product in the Head Office of Sinologie.com. Refund are made by bank transfer (additional charge of 5 euros will be due for international bank transfer).
- For an exchange of items, the customer must return the items with a copy of the invoice within seven days from the delivery day. When receiving the return, an exchange voucher worth the returned items value will be directly sent to the customer by e-mail, in order to place his order again. The customer is liable for the shipping cost of this new order.
However, incomplete or damaged returned products or products returned after 7 days will neither be exchanged nor refunded.
